This module will control a single Somfy shade/drape motor or group of Somfy shade/drape motors on the SDN 2.0

Deployment 

Crestron and Somfy recommends deployment responsibilities limited as below:

Shades installer:

• Shade installation
• SDN Bus connections following Somfy best practices, see above (wire type, Hubs, end plug terminations)
• List all motors address (NOD ID), on motors (labels), or with the “Somfy RS485 Setting Tool”, or with the “Somfy Config Tool”.
• Set motor end limits with the “Somfy RS485 Setting Tool”, or with the “Somfy Config Tool”. 

Crestron Installer:

• Set Control Processor RS port (4800, 8, 1, Odd),
• Motor control program using the Crestron applicationmarket module.
• Motor group creation using the « Somfy SDN Config Tool » 

The Somfy RS485 Settings Tool can be purchase to regular electrical distributor (Rexel, Yess), ref 9017142

The Somfy Config Tool software can be downloaded from the Somfy Website (FAQ SDN), Check Somfy USB-RS485 interface recommanded here (FAQ SDN)
