stops communicating after a couple days for some reason

I did a job with several rooms that all had 1 or two sharp LC70SQ15U TVs, along with other sizes controlled by rs232. They all use the standard sharp protocol, which works at first, but after the program runs for a couple days, the module stops communicating on one of the two TVs. The other TV continues to work, and if a command is sent manually, the tv will preform the action and give a rx. The solution is to use an older module that's not so "smart" that it decides to stop sending the commands you tell it to at some point.
