  2. For Large Phonebooks... 4 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Dec 2015

@Jarrod Kayser @Steven Camphaug: For large phonebooks (Corporate Directory) if you change the constant value of ciPHONEBOOKMAXENTRIES (Structure Array size) to match your max limit, most probability will work. Currently it's 2000 Entries.

  5. Concure with Jack K 3 Star Review

Posted by on 29th Jul 2015

I think Jack K is on to something. When the corporate directory has folder and row information it seems to display on the panel just fine. However if it is "flat" the directory just says "No Contacts". I can see the "flat" directory download from the codec in debugger but the module won't display the information. Please fix this as this is a major issue.

  6. Problem with Directory 3 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Jul 2015

Used with a customer that had a "flat" corporate directory served through a PolyCom server. Cisco touch works fine with the directory but the module craps out. It seems to be related to a lack of row information coming back. I had to copy the entire directory into the local and it worked fine. It would seem that the module would need to add support for a completely flat (i.e. no folder information or row information returned) file in order to work.

Confirmed tested on 7.3.3 firmware - large phonebook does not populate.

  9. Corporate Directory will not work 3 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Apr 2015

I used this module for a client and have had good luck with all commands minus the corporate phone book. There are roughly around 300 total sites that should populate, but all I ever see is 'No Contacts'. I have watched the incoming strings in Debugger, but all I see come in when the phone book is polled are random hex values. If I send the get phone book xcommand string via the Debugger, I will see the info populate in the Debugger but not on the panel. It worked fine when I tested with about 10 - 15 entries populated in the local address book. I have not tried the large corporate phone book yet (since it said for 500 or more entries). For the most part the module is very good and has worked for everything that I have needed it to do. Now if I can only get that directory to work.

  10. Still has problems 3 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Mar 2015

While better than the 1.2 version still has its problems.
If the phonebook only has 1 entry in a folder it gets over written by the next entry.
Also still only has 3 calls for multipoint and the call tracking does not work properly.
